Pakistan finalises mandatory Hajj training for 2025 pilgrims

ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) has announced the finalisation of mandatory training for Pakistani pilgrims intending to perform Hajj under the government Hajj 2025 scheme. The training sessions are aimed at preparing pilgrims for the pilgrimage and ensuring a smooth and informed experience.
In a statement issued on Friday, the MoRA spokesperson revealed that the training will be conducted at 147 locations across Pakistan. The first session is set to take place in Peshawar tomorrow.
The ministry emphasised the importance of attendance, stating that pilgrims’ participation will be tracked through QR codes available in the Pak Haj mobile app. This system is designed to streamline attendance and ensure that all pilgrims receive the necessary information and guidance ahead of their journey.
For overseas Pakistanis, the training will be conducted at the respective Haji Camps before they embark on their pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia.
The first phase of the mandatory training is scheduled to be completed by the 27th of next month. This initiative is part of the government’s efforts to ensure that all pilgrims are well-prepared for the Hajj and can perform their religious duties with ease and understanding.
